I’ve always been conscious about the quality of food I consume, fully believing that we are what we eat. Unfortunately, greed has become a major factor in the kind of food that reaches us today. I was fortunate to hear about Banyan Roots about 14-15 years back, when they had just started operating. I really liked their philosophy based on sustainability and slow food movement. They promote our traditional seeds and food system. I never regretted the trust I posed in them. Both Rohit and Julie come across as simple, honest and have genuine interest in the ensuring that best quality reaches us. I have seen them growing without advertising in the face. Although I live in Delhi, nearly 90% of what fills my kitchen comes from Banyan Roots. From oils and ghee to grains and biscuits, almost everything I use is sourced from them, and for that I feel truly grateful.I wish them good luck and continue to operate beautifully with such grace.
